Bought these speakers as they are smaller and more compact than 2 way satellite speakers. This is a single full range speaker. The build quality is not amazing but is more than adequate especially for the price I would say it is just right. The driver is just a full range paper style driver but looks to be good quality and the cabinets are good quality. the grills are nice looking a hair flimsy if you were not careful with them but these are also such small speakers a lot of material isnt needed. I use these as rear surround speakers and tuned them with a sound meter at 85 decibels with all my speakers and now they produce nice full rear surround sound. These are supposed to be crossed over at 150hz or so but my receiver has only 1 setting for all speakers. having a center with dual 5.25 drivers and two tower speakers up front and a 12 inch subwoofer i did not want my crossover higher than 80hz or my subwoofer would get localized or boomy. When playing an actual bass sweep on the avia disc there begins to be a hole in the sound but the bass doesnt go away completely and for music, movies, and tv you cannot discern the difference at all. You can play 5 channel music at high levels and they dont work too hard at all. Having no tweeter i wondered how the highs would be for vocals and music but it is of no concern they only reach up to 16khz but I cannot really tell. I was very worried about the performance of these for there size but now I am not and the looks are just fantastic behind the couch on some sanus HTIB speaker stands. If you want bose style speakers that are unobtrusive for a rear surround sound like behind a couch this is the way to go. the back and sides of the speakers are very asthetically pleasing when mounted they are flat black and curved cabinets. I find many small satelites look good but the side and back are ok at best. and the sound is loud and does not distort at all even with a lower than recommended crossover setting the driver does not suffer from over excursion or distortion. These are a bit larger than bose cubes but also probably sound better because of it. This satisifed everything I wanted from a surround speaker and best of all it was 29.99 a speaker which is cheap enough for what your getting. I have bought and sold a lot of speakers always looking for more and I am not looking for more sound from these and love how they look in the home. An added bonus is the full range 3.5 driver i feel helps to provide a more diffuse sound when paired with your other speakers giving nice music fill and movie fill vs having a tweeter right behind your head this might actually be a good thing and they blend very well with my polk audio speakers.

These are a high quality speaker that don't take up much shelf space. Work fine without stands. Came well protected and very quickly. Great value and sound nice when combined with a good subwoofer.

I'm a big fan of Cambridge Soundworks and these little guys deliver a great sound for a very reasonable price. Because of their size, they don't deliver a strong bass response, but pair them with a subwoofer, and you have an awesome sounding system. These also work very well as surround speakers.
The high and midrange response of these speakers is clean, crisp and tight. a great value for the money.

Having worked in the memory business, J.Chang is right that Kingston is a large company, but they are the largest memory MODULE maker in the world, mostly for DRAM product. Eugene's comment regarding them being a buyer of chip product is right, and he's also correct from what I've seen in return rates for Kingston, Sandisk, Lexar, etc. in that there are more defects because Kingston does not product their own chips like Sandisk. They only package the product as well as the controller chip (which also they do not make). Samsung, who Kingston purchases from, does not sell cards in the US They only package the product.

Personally, as a consumer, I bought Kingston and Sandisk, and found the data transfer rate to be faster on the Sandisk. I don't dare want to lose a picture from a potential defect, even though the chances of this is low for either product. I'll go with Sandisk from now on.

Kingston SD/256 Review by Fresno

If you are looking at buying SD or CF cards, realize that all the main brands and even some second tier (like KINGMAX) work equally well. They all use the same technology and they all have about the same chance for problems. The thing is, 95% of buyers of ANY of these brands will have NO problems and they will work flawlessly for years.

The other 5% will either have a problem right out of the box or within a few months. This is true of ALL brands. For every basher of Kingston, there is a basher of Sandisk, etc etc. Flash memory is prone to have the odd bad unit here and there, so don't give up on a nicely priced brand (or one with a rebate) just becuase you fell in that 5% once.

The best way to protect yourself is to FILL THE CARD with data (pictures, etc) ALL THE WAY TO THE MAX and then try to retrieve that data back in your computer. This will at least run the card through it's paces once and will reduce the chance of finding a bad sector much later in the life of the card. (Yes, one bad sector, way up in the higher memory area, is enough to ruin ALL the photo's on the card). You stil may have problem in a few months if you are part of the 5%, but you will reduce those chances considerably.

So price shop and get the best deal you can. Also worth noting is that oftentimes Kingston allows TWO (2) rebates per household as opposed to the standard one rebate per household (and you should mail the two in the SAME envelope). But don't just take my word for it, read the rebate (if there is one) to make sure of the limit per household.

Anyway, just get your best price and run the card through it's paces when you get it and you should be happy 95% of the time or better.

If you're buying flash memory a good calculation to do is the megabyte per $ ratio. For SD, the 256MB card is the optimum purchase.

I bought this for my digital camera and it has worked great. It holds 200-300 pictures depending on the camera settings I use and whether I take video clips or not. I've transferred files through the camera serial connection and also using an internal card reader. No problems with either. So far, after almost a year, the card has not become corrupted, and i've not lost any data. Also in that time I've used it for my notebook computer and dell axim pocket pc for file transfers and backing up, and it has also performed admirably.

When it comes to these memory cards, the maker matters. Stay away from Sandisk and PNY. Pay a little more and get a more reliable product. Kingston is a good vendor - I have 2 512MB SD cards and a USB2 256MB flash drive all from kingston and they all work great. no i don't work for them either.

This case is better then I excepted, it very excellent case very functional and sturdy and the suede it very nice and it's on both sides of the case.. The color looks more like pumpkin spice but it's still very orange and cute. I highly suggest this case and I plan on get another one in a different color! I have a problem. I tend to leave things places.

To counter-act this problem, I always stop and look around after I get up to leave; a last visual sweep before I go. Just in case.

So it was quite predictable that I'd repeatedly leave my iPad, in its black Apple case, in dark places without realizing or seeing on my final sweep.

After the second time (and thankfully recovering it both times) my wife demanded I get a brightly colored case, so that I could see it when I look around before I leave.

I loved the black Apple case. I know people who berate it, but I liked. It got grungy easily but it was simple. It worked, it kept the iPad reasonably safe, and it functioned as a simple stand. What more could you want?

So it was with a heavy heart I went looking for a new case. I finally settled on this one, mainly because they had a bright orange that I thought would stand out well in the dark. I would have preferred "Docwhat.Org Green" but nobody had that exact color, unsurprisingly.

When I got it I was surprised at how soft it was. It's nice to hold.

The iPad fit in just fine. I was a little worried at first, but it seems to hold just fine.

I was also surprised that the stand feature worked really well. I really didn't think it would work well (or even at all), but the design is pretty good. The bottom can, if knocked, slip forward. But I haven't had it happen "by itself" yet. But the best part is that pressing on the iPad doesn't knock the stand down. The grooves work their best when you press the screen.

Overall, I'd recommend this case.

This formula/snack storage system is pretty neat because it allows me to take as little or as much snacks and such with me on the go. The parts snap together and come apart pretty easily, and I like that there is a separate division for the parts that is also removable. I can just give one of the parts to my toddler without removing the divider hole, and it makes less mess in the car. For travel, I would probably bring more of the snacks in the diaper bag and refill when needed as my toddler can basically finish up a whole bag of her favorite snacks (like yogurt melts) in one sitting if we let her. Would be nice if there was some way to contain the liquids with this type of container but i know they have a different product for that as well that I will be trying out.

I had seen these on a deal a day website numerous times and heard glowing reviews about them. I tried them and was not impressed. They really do not hold much. They are actually an oval shape, not round, so the width you see in the picture is about double what the depth is. There is a small hole on the lids which you can barely get anything out of, but if you take the lid off, half of the stuff comes flying out. You can put about 1/8 cup- if that in each of goldfish, cheerios, nuts. Only about 3 animal crackers will fit in each.

here's what you want to know:

i connected a netgear cable/dsl router into the XE102, and then
connected 4 more XE102 adapters across my house to share the
internet connection on laptops i have.

my house is about 40 years old. the electrical wiring has never
been changed (or repaired).

all the devices connected at 10mbps, short of the 14mpbs
promised, but still very good considering.

in a sustained transfer of a 533MB file from my server to my
laptops, each laptop pulled it in anywhere from 500K-550K/sec,
or 5 to 5.5mbps. it would take roughly 15 minutes per machine
to receive the whole file.

internet transfers showed no signs of a slow connection. i
played 'savage' (an online first person shooting game) with no
lag. i downloaded the demo from download.com at about 195k/sec,
which is nothing to laugh at.

setup was easy for my comcast connection. it took more time to
get the router to talk to comcast's dhcp server than anything.

the XE102's are truly plug and play, but make sure you enable
encryption when you're done setting up.

i give the product 4/5 only because there is no doubt room for
an improvement in sustained transfer speeds, although, again, i
am more than happy with 5 - 5.5mbps , especially since most of
the files being transfered in my home are 3mb or so MP3s from
the server to my laptops, which would take approximately 3
seconds to move. not bad for 40 year old wiring!

if cabling cat5 is impractical, and wireless has too much
interference or too much open space, i'd definitely recommend
the XE102 for a reliable wire-based connection.

Great! Simple. Simpliest network-related device I have used. This product worked out of the box - no extra parts and no hassle. I plugged in one XE102 and then went downstairs and plugged in the other XE102. It worked without a hitch and provided network and high-speed internet access to my laptop ( via the connected Ethernet RJ45 cable).

Then I set the password to encrypt communications between the two XE102 units. No problems and no slowdown.

While they are not super fast they are faster than the high-speed cable modem used to provide intenet access and plenty good for home network use. The best part is the ability to pull a unit out of one electrical wall outlet, go to another room and plug it in, after which, your back on the network.

My earlier experiences with an attempt to use a wireless network (which took many days and involved several different wireless units) and the associated unpredictable or lost encryption settings left me cold and frustrated. By sharp contrast, this product was instant gratification. I really like this product and plan to buy another unit.

I have been a huge fan of wireless for a few years now. The flexibility of going anywhere with my laptop and still being connected was great. However, I have been performing a lot of remote work which requires heavy duty two-way processing of X-window and Java traffic. I stared to notice severe bottlenecks in the throughput. I tried expanding my wireless network by getting better antennas and enhancers with no luck. I tried to have a WEBEX demonstration and the results were not good.

I then started looking at the cost of having someone wire my entire house. The expense of this was staggering. Finally, I stumbled onto what I now consider the best option that you can have for a true HOME network. The XE102 Powerline Ethernet Adapter from Netgear is my answer. It turns any electrical outlet in your home into a access point into your network and grants you access to the Internet through your cable modem, dsl or dial up.

This device is ten times faster than wireless in my observations. It requires a minimum of two devices (one plugged into a wall outlet by your internet access point and one anyplace in you house where you want to connect). I was so pleased with the speed of this that I even tried the WEBEX demonstration again, IT WORKED GREAT.

This is a new genuine new HP cartridge! Not gray market. I'll try to upload a couple photos but my box look just like the picture on this listing. Ordered mine through Amazon (February 2011) and was fulfilled by Adorama. I can't speak for other vendors but maybe it's a good idea to make sure your order is from one you trust.

Not much else to say about this cartridge. Oh HP still packs them with a pre-paid UPS label to send back your empty. Eco friendly -- way to go HP! :)

I have have used the entire bottle now and I can tell you it is definitely worth its money! I tan about 2-3 times a week and with this lotion I got some serious color! After you tan you still smell nice too. The only thing that isnt great is that the clear top falls off the ACTUAL top... I guess the clear thing is just decoration. Anyways, I highly reccomment this product, I certainly know I will be ordering another bottle ASAP :]

I tried the JWOW lotion for the first time when I purchased it from amazon. The lotion sucks. I get a red tint to me every single time I tan... I'm pretty tan this lotion just burns me and doesn't turn tan. It sucks. Wouldn't recommend it at all to anyone light skinned or dark skinned.

I got these little speaker a few days ago and I like them. I have to say the sound is better then my cell phone and sounds good on the table next to my bed and in the bathroom. I only paid $9.99 free shipping so I like it. also like how in folds into a small little box good to take out. If you can find on line like I did for cheap go for it.

Love this speakers for portability and practicality. The 2 speakers fold into a black sleek brick. Ships with 4 "AAA" batteries. One of the features I like the most with tiny portable speakers is a built-in cable, that way you do not have to carry an extra cable as with other speakers that I have. The cable can be tucked away inside the battery compartment when not in use. Although it is only 6 inches long, it comes with an extra 3-feet extension cable.

Sound is decent enough and loud enough for such a tiny pair of speakers. Nice sound for a quiet bedroom. An MP3 player and a tiny folding speaker, how much more simple can it be? I also have a puck Altec Lansing Orbit speaker which I also adore. I will using both of them alternately depending on my mood.

Box is very plain with just the Motorola logo and the model name. I mean, not too exciting if you want to give it as a gift.

Cons:
- These are real puny speakers. Don't expect any substantial bass.
- 6 inches cable is a tad short to use for your laptop. It will be hard to find a good position. (But there is the extension cord included).
- The slider switch is somewhat difficult to push (but not as problematic as my Altec-Lansing Orbit).

For the price, its not too bad...but the sound comming out is very tiny and
does'nt beat the cube speakers i tried for around the same price or cheaper.
The advantage on this product is that is folds and has 2 speakers for a little
stereo effect... but again ....tiny little sound...with not too bad dynamics and
a little touch of bass.
