I liked the ice cream ball. It makes delicious vanilla ice cream with little work. Myself and my children shook and rolled it for about 8 minutes and them we just let it sit for a while to stay cold in the refrigerator. I then took it out, shook it some more, stirred it with a small wooden spoon and served it up (this worked for us). It was very good with half and half, but would probably be more creamy with cream. There are two things I would change about it: the company should include some kind of scooping device that will easily scrape the frozen ice cream off the sides without ruining the barrel, also I would make the opening for the ice a little bigger to accommodate regular size ice cubes. Crushed ice works the best, but you may have to buy it. Overall, we enjoyed this item and it was pretty easy to use and clean up. It makes 1 pint of ice cream which was well enough for three children or a couple adults. If it had a scooper and a wider opening for the ice I would have given it a 5 stars.

With just my husband here most of the time, it's just the two of us and I thought these small pans would be great for small desserts for the two of us. At Christmas when we were planning on guests, I made Cheesecake and used all four (and wished I'd had another set) so that everyone could have whatever topping they wanted.
I just made four more small cakes and put three into the freezer and left one out for us for later.
These pans are great. They release easily, just follow the directions. I did cut small rounds of parchment to put into the bottom of my pans for the cheesecake. Use caution if you try to serve on the bottom of the pan. Using metal utensils can scratch the non stick surface on these pans.
I would definately recommend Kaiser Bakeware to my friends.

This is the BEST peppermill ever! Finally, a peppermill that lasts. I bought mine well over a year ago (7 inch orange) and I am happy to report that it is by far the best peppermill I have ever owned. Before finding this product, I had gone through several peppermills, presumably all top of the line (what a joke!) Vic Firth's peppermills are the real deal. The grinding mechanism is superb and it gives me a perfect consistency each and every time; from fine grinds for fish, to medium grinds for gravies or coarse grinds for meats. The mill is easy to clean too with just a few simple steps. Sure, these are some pricey peppermills but you definitely get what you pay for. This will be the last peppermill you will ever use. This is a handcrafted product of excellent craftsmanship, which will complement your kitchen décor and table setting. I bought a pepper mill and salt mill. These are the first set of mills I have ever bought and I am delighted with them. They are just the right size, not too cumbersome to handle easily and they are very attractive, with a simple, clean design. They seem to be very well made and they are made in the USA to boot. In use the top is perfectly hand sized and they hold an adequate amount of spice. Perfect for a small family or a family with kids. I would buy these again and recommend them 100%.

If you are like me, you've tried a zillion pepper grinders and they always end up breaking up being too hard to turn or not grinding the pepper evenly. When I started becoming more environmentally conscious, first I started using canvas bags instead of taking the paper or plastic ones from the store. That felt somewhat hypocritical though, once I started buying mostly produce in plastic bags. These are a great way to avoid all that waste. The only thing is I wish they were better for storing food in the fridge. Certain foods do tend to rot faster when not enclosed. Instead I use reusable PeakFresh bags in my fridge.

These bags are terrific for taking to the grocery store or farmer's market. They're strong, washable, and don't weigh enough to affect the scale at the grocery store. I have hated getting new plastic bags for every different produce item, and this solved that issue. Two thumbs up!!

I switched to canvas grocery bags a long time ago, but it always bugged me that I still had to use plastic bags for my produce. So I ordered these and now I feel great when I shop.

Contrary to what another reviewer said, I think these bags are very lightweight - no heavier than the plastic bags at the store. The mesh is very easy to see through so the checker can easily see what is inside. They roll up into a tight packet, small enough to fit into my purse. There's a variety of sizes, so there's a bag for anything I buy - even potatoes.

I haven't tried to wash these, so can't comment on durability in that area, but just using them, they feel durable and strong. I don't fear that my produce is going to rip through the mesh.

Love these! So glad I found them.

First of all, I own a lot of grocery bags and the largest share are standard brown bag dimensions, except shorter. We've been used to looking down into a grocery bag and seeing that same-sized space available for filling, over and over, year after year. These bags are wider but narrower. So they seemed odd. BTW, they are also taller than my other cloth bags but the same height as brown paper grocery bags.

But then I started loading one of these new bags and convenient things started to happen. Two large boxes of cereal fit the width exactly. The long skinny aluminum foil roll stands in there and doesn't stick out the top. 6-packs of cans are a little wider than the bag's bottom, but sit right on in there anyway. I actually fit more into these bags because of that, and when I don't fill them to the brim the snap actally stays snapped and prevents spillage if tipped.

I used these for packing for a beach trip and it is so HANDY carrying everything into the house when there are handles! Plus, loading the car is a breeze when there are scads of uniformly-sized bags that fill up the back of the car so neatly and without wasted space.

I did the same thing last year with different bags, and they were split at the seams and ragged at the end of the return trip. THESE bags were ALL like new. Not one split. I love'em! The handles are just right. They're substantial enough, long enough, and very well-attached.

The material they're made of doesn't seem any better than my older ones, but there was apparently no skimping on material at the seams. They are holding well, and I REALLY appreciate that. I think I paid about a dollar and a quarter each for these. What a steal.

I also purchased these bags in plaid. They are great-looking and I love them too!

While the bags are good quality, and the snap closure is a bonus, the handles fall short.. literally. They are pictured as long handles as if you could throw the bag over your shoulder easily, but that is not really the case. The handles are shorter than expected which leaves me debating whether to be keep the bags or return them because I'm not sure i'll get much use out of them without a longer handle..

We decorated my daughter's entire nursery in Pooh Delightful Day, and I love it. The shades of pink are nice and muted, and the border added a nice touch.

I liked this product for the first few months and used it to hold board books. It got moderate use, as books have been removed and replaced daily. Now the cardboard is visible on more than one side, as the seams in the fabric cover have evidently split. Obviously, I am unable to use this anymore because it is no longer safe to have around the baby (he may eat the cardboard), and it now looks like a piece of garbage (which it obviously is).

I bought a couple different storage boxes like this one, for our new pantry and closets after remodeing our house. This one was by far the sturdiest and looked the best. The holes for the "handles" are framed in metal, for both strength and for looks. I love the different colored stripes on the inside, the way it contrasts well with the outside color. I would highly recommend this brand if all of their storage boxes are like this one.

I bought this Lightweight Carpet Cleaner with the hope of cleaning room by room of my home over time so that I wouldn't have to pay Professional Carpet Cleaners to come in once a year to clean my carpets. We recently added an "indoor" puppy to our family too, so our carpets were really taking a beating. Both my husband and I are thoroughly impressed with the Bissell 2080. We knew buying a Bissell was a good decision, but we were a little skeptical that we might should have bought a more heavy duty cleaner, but every penny counts in our household. Using the 2080 to clean a room at a time per weekend is working GREAT! We did find that the sprayer didn't meet our needs (puppy spots) - but we took the Bissell cleaning fluid, put it in a spray bottle, then sprayed everything! By the time we were finished spraying, we were ready to use the Powerbrush to run over the stains, scrub the solution and vacuum it up! The carpet looks like new -- which is an accomplishment because we're a family of 5 and that doesn't include our 2 mature dogs and our puppy! I would definitely recommend this cleaner to anyone that needs to watch their budget but also wants a really good cleaning job!
Oh, one last thing, I read this in reviews before I purchased the 2080 and it is SO true -- when you are vacuuming the cleaner out of the rug, GO SLOW!! If you go slow, you'll vacuum up the maximum amount of liquid and your carpet will dry super quick! Good luck!

Very easy to use carpet cleaner for regular light maintenance. However, I was looking for a carpet cleaner to get out some traffic and light stain spots - some deep cleaning with a powerbrush - and this didn't do the trick.
The "powerbrush" on this is a misnomer, as the brush rolls back + forth by.....you! no motor on it. not enough bristles on it to call it a brush. also misleading is "steamer" and "deep cleaner".
The definite positives were that it's extremely easy and even fun to use, seems very well-designed, and it's terrific for light maintenance. 5 stars for all of that. Wish Bissell had advertised it as that so I wouldn't be stuck having to return it.

Other, better options, which bring my rating from 3 down to 1 or 2:
I bought from amazon the McCulloch Steam Cleaner (mc1275, $100) and it ROCKS. zapped spots out with steam. obviously also great for hard floors and furniture, bathrooms, etc. carpets dried within 2 hours - this from a steamer without any suction.
Also sold here is the Hoover SteamVac JR which seems to have great suction.

This machine cost $89 on Amazon. A professional cleaning job for one room around here costs over $100 and they require furniture removal. As others have mentioned, it's not really a "steamer," since you fill it with the Bissell solution and hot tap water. I was prepared to be disappointed, but I had some spots that hadn't come out with spot cleaners that this machine sucked right out in one session. The suggestions to go slowly both for application and for sucking the moisture back out are spot on (well... spot out). It dried overnight. I don't know if it would remove difficult stains, but it removed dirt, food, juice, and grease stains I tried it out on, so I'm very satisfied. An 8-foot-square area took about 2/3 of a tank of solution, so it's probably not optimal for quick, large-area cleaning, but, for spot-cleaning, it does the job well.

Got this for my mom and future mother in law for Christmas. They both love it - they were using dead, dull knives, and I was seriously worried they'd hurt themselves. It's inexpensive, but sturdy. You'll probably need to replace them every few years. The nonstick aspect is great too, especially for tomatoes or avocados.

i just got this through usps 20 min ago....I hate it. It looked so pretty online and I was so excited about getting it. Don't waste your money on this. Somebody must have freshly painted this bag, because there were sticky drippings of white paint on it. the zipper does't work very well either. This bag reminds of of the crappy fake louis vuiton bags you get at the purse stands at the mall.

It's really tough to beat alumina ceramic in terms of sharpening knives. I've got knife sharpening systems ranging up into the hundreds of dollar category, (ie, I used to sharpen knives semi-professionally for restaurants), and yet when it comes to sharpening knives for the home kitchen, I reach for the simple Lansky ceramic sharpening stick. If it's difficult for some to get the right angle, put the point of the stick down into a cutting board, (ie, make stick vertical). Then just hone knives down against sides of sharpening stick at an angle more or less consistant with established bevel. It's tougher to write and read than it is to do.
